1. Information We Collect
Account information: your name, email address, and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the profile data those providers share with us. Usage data: the lessons, words, and exercises you interact with, your progress, and your streaks. Crash and error diagnostics, collected automatically through Sentry when something goes wrong. Push notification device tokens, only if you turn notifications on, which you control anytime in Profile settings. Payment information for Founding Members: this is handled entirely by Apple or Google when you subscribe in the app. We don't see or store your card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the app, communicate with you about updates and your membership, personalize your learning experience, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Who We Share It With
We work with a small set of vendors to run the app: Supabase (our database and authentication provider), Sentry (error tracking), Expo (push notifications), and Apple or Google (subscription billing, for Founding Members). None of them can use your data for their own purposes, and we don't sell your information to anyone.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app. You can request deletion at any time, see the section below.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.
6. Your Rights and Deletion
You can access, correct, or delete your data. Two ways to delete your account and data: inside the app, go to Profile then Erase My Data, or use polyblabla.com/delete-account from any browser. Both are processed within 7 days.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies on this website to understand how it's used. You can control cookie settings through your browser.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
